Imphal: A total of 801 persons were confirmed positive for Covid-19 out of 6465 persons tested, 15 patients died and 981 patients were recovered in Manipur as reported on Saturday.
The positivity rate was 12.38 percent on Saturday.
Three each of the death cases belonged to Imphal East and Imphal West districts, two each belonged to Bishnupur, Churachandpur and Kakching, and one each belonged to Chandel and Thoubal.
Out of 15 deaths, 11 persons had co-morbidities. Six of them were vaccinated with first dose, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
Covid-19 related death cases have hit 1556 in the state.
The fresh positive cases belonged to Imphal East (194), Imphal West (213), Thoubal (69), Bishnupur (54), Kakching (68), Ukhrul (5), Churachandpur (97), Chandel (7), Senapati (14), Tamenglong (11), Tengnoupal (3), Jiribam (4), Noney (20), Pherzawl (19), Kangpokpi (12), Kamjong (2) and CAPF (9).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 98,499. The number of active cases is 10,540. The recovery rate is 87.71 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1976 D-type oxygen cylinders and 495 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
So far till Friday 1306313 vaccines (1st dose of 1098387 and 2nd dose of 207926) were administered in the state.
