Imphal: A total of 1063 Covid-19 patients were recovered in Manipur as reported on Tuesday pushing up the recovery rate to 88.98 percent.
However 763 new covid cases were reported at the positivity rate of 13.8 percent.
The recovered patient were discharged from home isolation (426), RIMS (28), JNIMS (30), CCCs (231) and CHICs (348).
The positive cases from the general population are from Imphal East (164), Imphal West (246), Thoubal (46), Bishnupur (68), Kakching (27), Ukhrul (2), Churachandpur (63), Chandel (29), Senapati (38), Tamenglong (13), Tengnoupal (1), Jiribam (1), Noney (1), Pherzawl (8), Karnjong (20), Kangpokpi (21) and CAPF (5).
The district wise distributions of the death cases were Imphal West (5), Imphal East (5), Bishnupur (2), Ukhrul (1) and Churachandpur (1).
The cumulative number of deaths was 1592.
“Out of 14 deaths, 9 persons had co-morbidities. Out of 14 deaths, only 5 of them were vaccinated (1st dose),” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 100,625 and the number of active cases was 9,490.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2266 D-type oxygen cylinders and 299 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
Till Monday 1337526 doses of vaccine (1st dose of 1117981 and 2nd dose of 219545) have been administered in state.
