Imphal: Even as 12 Covid-19 related death cases and 699 positive cases were recorded, 908 Covid patients were recovered in Manipur as reported on Saturday.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (4), Imphal East (2), Thoubal ( 1), Bishnupur (3), Kakching (1) and Churachandpur (1).
The cumulative number of deaths was 1640.
“Out of 12 deaths, 9 persons had co-morbidities and only 4 of them had 1st doses of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (139), Imphal West (316), Thoubal (36), Bishnupur (79), Kakching (19), Ulthrul (20), Churachandpur (48), Chandel (6), Senapati (8), Tamenglong (11), Tengnoupal (2), Pherzawl (I), Kamjong (2) Kangpokpi (11), CAPF (1) and Churachandpur (1).
The positivity rates was 14.1 percent.
The recovered persons were discharged from home isolation (362), RIMS (11), JNIMS (14), CCCs (251) and CHICs (270).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,03,588. The number of active cases is 8,146. The recovery rate is 90.55 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1517 D-type oxygen cylinders and 347 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
So far till Friday a cumulative vaccine doses of 1380186 (1st dose of 1140130 and 2nd dose of 240056) were administered.
