Imphal: With the recovery of 1405 Covid-19 patients the recovery rate has gone up to 91.73 percent in Manipur as on Monday.
On this day 467 persons were confirmed positive for Covid-19 at the positivity rate of 15.5 percent.
The positive cases belonged to Imphal East (118), Imphal West (125), Thoubal (25), Bishnupur (94), Kalcching (16), Ukhrul (2), Churachandpur (41), Chandel (12), Senapati (14), Tamenglong (11), Jiribam (2) and Kangpokpi (7).
Seven Covid-19 patients passed away in the last 24 hours. They belonged to Imphal West (1), Imphal East (1), Bislumpur (2), Kakchhig (2) and Tengnoupal (1).
The cumulative number of deaths was 1657.
“Out of 7 deaths, 5 persons had co-morbidities and 1 of them had 1st doses of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,04,791. The number of active cases is 7,006, it said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2572 D-type oxygen cylinders and 412 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
As on Wednesday the cumulative number of vaccine doses administered was 1393780 (1st dose of 1148092 and 2nd dose of 245688).
