Imphal: Manipur on Thursday witnessed nine Covid-19 related deaths which included four persons who were administered with 1st dose of Covid vaccine.
“Out of 9 deaths, 6 persons had co-morbidities and 4 of them had 1st dose of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (I), Imphal East (1), Thoubal (2), Bishnupur (2), Ukhrul (I), Kangpokpi (1) and Churachandpur (1).
The cumulative number of deaths was 1683.
In the past twenty-four 677 persons were confirmed as new positive cases. They were from Inphal East (152), hnplial West (283), Thoubal (47), Bishnupur (52), Kalcching (15), Ukhrul (16), Churachandpur (49), Chandel (4), Senapati (12), Tamenglong (Ii), Tengnoupal (I), Jiribam (3), Noney (I) Kangpokpi (26) and CAPF (5).
The positivity rate was 14.5 percent.
A total of 690 recovered persons were discharged from home isolation (261), RIMS (7), JNIMS (15), CCCs (209) and CHICs (198).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,06,707. The number of active cases is 6,835. The recovery rate was 92.01 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1622 D-type oxygen cylinders and 315 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur, the control room said.
The cumulative doses of vaccine administered as on Wednesday was 1424962 (1st dose of 1161304 and 2nd dose of 263658).
