Imphal: Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Gallantry, Chief Minister’s Trophy for Community service and Chief Minister’s Trophy for Anti-Drug Campaign announced.
Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Gallantry was announced on the occasion of Patriots Day.
Three police personnel were named for the medal. They were late Lisham Premchand Singh, then inspector of police, Bishnupur (Posthumous award) ; Thokchom Shachi Singh, rifleman, 2nd IRB attached with Special CDO unit; and N. Inaobi Singh, constable, attached with Special CDO unit.
For Chief Minister’s Police Medal for Gallantry three police personnel were named. They were Lakshay Sharma, IPS, superintendent of police, Pherzawl; Nongmaithem Ingocha Singh, inspector, Imphal Police station; and Nongthombam Romila Devi, woman police commando, Kakching.
For Chief Minister’s Trophy for Anti-Drug Campaign three police personnel were named. They were Dr Ibomcha Singh, superintendent of police, Imphal West; Y. Saktishen Singh, subedar, 8th MR attached with Bishnupur Police as OC/CDO; and Y. Ibotomba Singh, head constable, attached with NAB, Bishnupur.
