Manipur Covid-19 recovery rate rises to 93.16 percent, 2 fully vaccinated person reported among 6 deaths

Imphal: With the recovery of 946 Covid-19 patients n a single day the recovery rate has gone up to 93.16 percent in Manipur.

The recovered persons were discharged from home isolation (610), RIMS (31), JNIMS (12), CCCs (144) and CHICs (149).

In the past 24 hours, 403 persons were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.

They belonged to Imphal East (80), Imphal West (144), Thoubal (15), Bishnupur (28), Kakching (33), Ukhrul (10), Churachandpur (48), Chandel (6), Senapati (7), Tamenglong (3), Tengnoupal (1), Jiribam (10), Kamjong ( I), Kangpokpi (15) and CAPF (2).

The positivity rate was 9.3 percent.

Six Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. They belonged to Imphal East (2), Bishnupur (I), Kakching (2) and Churachandpur (I).

The cumulative number of deaths was 1722.

“Out of 6 deaths, 4 persons had co-morbidities, 1 of them had 1st dose of Covid vaccine and 2 of them had 2nd doses of Covid vaccine,” the control room said.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,08,948 and the number of active cases is 5,721, the control room said.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 1320 D-type oxygen cylinders and 377 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.

As on Monday the cumulative number of administered vaccine was 1449596 (1st dose of 1170210 and 2nd doses of 279386).
