Imphal: Manipur on Wednesday reported six Covid-19 related deaths, 369 positive cases and 578 recoveries.
One each of the death cases belonged to Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Chandel and Churachandpur.
The cumulative number of deaths is 1728. “Out of 6 deaths, 3 persons had co-morbidities and 2 of them had 1st dose of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (76), Imphal West (135), Thoubal (18), Bishnupur (62), Kalcching (15), Ukhrul (12), Churachandpur (18), Chandel (1), Senapati (1), Tamenglong (7), Tengnoupal (1), Jiribam (2), Noney (4), Pherzawl (4), Kamjoing (2), Kangpokpi (6) and CAPF (1).
The recovered cases were discharged from home isolation (231), RIMS (47), JNIMS (7), CCCs (145) and CHICs (148).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,09,317. The number of active cases is 5,506. The recovery rate is 93.38 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1539 D-type oxygen cylinders and 418 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered as on Tuesday was 1454182 (1st dose of 1171305 and 2nd dose of 282877).
