Imphal: Covid-19 has taken eight more lives and infected 442 persons while 598 Covid patients recovered in 24 hours Manipur reported on Saturday.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (2), Imphal East (3), Thoubal (1), Bishnupur (I) and Senapati (1).
“The cumulative number of deaths is 1747. Out of 8 deaths, 6 persons had co-morbidities and none of them had Covid vaccine,” the control room said.
The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (69), Imphal West (187), Thoubal (18), Bishnupur (48), Kalcching (17), Ukhrul (18), Churachandpur (17), Chandel (5), Senapati (10), Tamenglong (17), Noney (3), Kamjong (16) Kangpokpi (15) and CAPF (2).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,10,657. The number of active cases is 4,139. The recovery rate is 94.68 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1708 D-type oxygen cylinders and 367 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
Cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered in Manipur as on Friday was 1474052 (1st dose of 1175371 and 2nd dose 298681).
