Manipur government decides to reduce fuel oil price

Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Saturday announced that his government has decided to bring down the prices of petrol and diesel.

Biren made the announcement during felicitation of five Manipur Olympians at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium, here.

He said the government has decided to reduce the price of petrol and diesel to Rs 102.96 and Rs 90.64 respectively.

However, it would come into effect after around 10 days, he added.

The currently price of petrol per litre and diesel are Rs 106. 065 and Rs 94.64 respectively.

“The government feel that the daily earners who run auto rickshaw, van, etc will be benefitted,” Biren told reporters.
