Imphal: Manipur on Sunday witnessed four Covid-19 related deaths, 285 fresh cases and 426 recovered cases.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (3) and Imphal East (I).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1751. “Out of 4 deaths, 2 persons had co-morbidities and none of them had Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (49), Imphal West (105), Thoubal (11), Bishnupur (30), Kakching (12), Ukhrul (11), Churachandpur (16), Chandel (2), Senapati (5), Tamenglong (23), Tengnoupal (1), Noney (18), Kangpokpi (1) and CAPF (1).
The number of active cases is 3,994 and the recovery rate is 94.82 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 2153 D-type oxygen cylinders and 431 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
So far till Sunday 1479663 (1st dose of 1176366 and 2nd dose of 303297) Covid-19 vaccine have been vaccinated in the state.
