Imphal: With the recovery of 554 Covid-19 patients the number of active cases have been reduced to 3, 706 in Manipur on Monday.
The recovery rate was 95.08 percent.
In the past 24 hours, 270 persons were confirmed as new Covid-19 positive cases. They were from Imphal East (75), Imphal West (78), Thoubal (12), Bishnupur (14), Kakching (15), Ukhrul (19), Churachandpur (9), Chandel (5), Senapati (13), Tamenglong (10), Tengnoupal (2), Noney (8), Pherzawl (4) and Kangpokpi (5).
Four Covid-19 related deaths were reported on this day.
They belonged to Imphal West (2), Ukhrul (I) and Kakching (I).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1755. “Out of 4 deaths, 2 persons had co-morbidities and 1 of them had 1st dose of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases has hit 1,11,212 mark.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1461 D-type oxygen cylinders and 344 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The cumulative doses of Covid vaccine administered was 1480703 (1st dose of 1176759 and 2nd dose of 303944).
