Imphal: Covid-19 has claimed lives of yet another four persons and newly infected 380 persons in 24 hours Manipur.
The death cases were from Imphal West (I), Imphal East (I). Ukhrul (1) and Kangpokpi (1 ).
“Out of 4 death, 2 persons had co-morbidities and none of them had Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said on Thursday.
The cumulative number of deaths was 1767 in the state.
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (82), Imphal West (144), Thoubal (20), Bishnupur (25), Kalcching (10), Ulchrul (40), Churachandpur (14), Senapati (7), Tamenglong (20), Jiribam (1), Phereawl (1), Kamjoing (9) Kangpokpi (6) and CAPF(1).
“Today, 352 persons were discharged. They are from home isolation (120), RIMS (23), JNIMS (40), CCCs (86) and CHICs (83),” the control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,12,355, The number of active cases is 3,596. The recovery rate is 95.22 percent, it added.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1435 D-type oxygen cylinders and 332 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
Till Wednesday the cumulative vaccine doses administered was 1500385 (1st dose of 1180937 and 2nd dose of 319448).
