Imphal: Manipur on Saturday witnessed five Covid-19 related deaths, 275 fresh cases and 332 recoveries, as recorded in 24 hours.
“Out of 5 deaths, 3 persons had co-morbidities and 2 of them had 1st dose of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The five Covid-19 victims belonged to Imphal West (1), Bislumpur (1), Ukhrul (1), Tengnoupal (1) and Churachandpur (1).
The cumulative number of deaths was 1775.
The fresh positive cases were from Imphal East (39), Imphal West (134), Thoubal (10), Bishnupur (14), Kakching (15), Ukhrul (11), Churachandpur (15), Chandel (2), Senapati (6), Tamenglong (17), Tengnoupal (I), Pherrawl (2), Kangpokpi (7) and CAPF (2).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,12,941. The number of active cases is 3,424. The recovery rate is 95.40 percent, the control room said.
It said in the last 24 hours, a total of 1350 D-type oxygen cylinders and 358 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
Cumulative number of Covid vaccine doses administered as on Friday was 1511675 (1st dose of 1183466 and 2nd dose of 328209).
