Imphal: Covid-19 has taken lives four more persons and infected 387 persons in 24 hours in Manipur leaving the number of active cases to 3,388.
The death cases belonged to Imphal West (1) and Imphal East (3).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1779. “Out of 4 deaths, 3 persons had co-morbidities and none of them had Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (52), Imphal West (159), Thoubal (35), Bishnupur (14), Kakching (13), Ul.ul (10), Churachandpur (38), Chandel (8), Senapati (5), Tamenglong (16), Tengnoupal (1), No, (2), Pherzawl (30), Kangpokpi (1) and CAPF (3).
A total of 419 persons were discharged. The recovery rate was 95.44 percent.
The cumulative number of positive cases stood at 1,13,328.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1340 D-type oxygen cylinders and 359 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The cumulative vaccine doses administered as on Saturday was 1518836 (1st dose of 1184851 and 2nd dose 333985).
