Imphal: Covid-19 has claimed lives of two persons and infected 223 persons while 269 patients were recovered in Manipur as on Monday.
The two death cases belonged to Ukhrul and Kakching.
The fresh cases were from Imphal East (45), Imphal West (69), Thoubal (8), Bishnupur (14), Kakching (34), Ukhrul (10), Churachandpur (17), Chandel (5), Senapati (3), Tamenglong (1), Noney (2), Pherzawl (12), Kangpokpi angpokpi (1) and CAPF (2).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,13,551. The number of active cases is 3,340. The recovery rate is 95.49 percent, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1199 D-type oxygen cylinders and 314 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The cumulative doses of Covid vaccine administered as on Sunday was 519826 (1st dose of 1185319 and 2nd dose of 334507).
