KSO shows gratitude for upgrading Kamjong school to higher secondary school

Imphal: Kuki Students Organisation Kamjong district has express its gratitude to chief minister N. Biren Singh, education minister S. Rajen Singh, chairmain Hill Areas Committee Leishiyo Keishing and deputy commissioner Kamjong district Worshang Hungyo for upgrading Kamjong High School to a higher secondary school.

On August 27 the state government upgraded nine schools including Kamjong High School to suffice the demand for accommodation of students with the cent percent pass in matric examinations this year.

The student body on Tuesday said the state government, in its continuous effort to improve education in the state, has taken up various measures of which upgradation of Kamjong High School is one.

KSO Kamjong district urged the same and the concern authorities to provide necessary infrastructure and teaching staff so as to make the institution fully functional and equivalent to other institution in the state.
