Imphal: The Assam Rifles Loktak battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) in a joint operation with Manipur Police apprehended three active insurgents of proscribed group HPC (D) LK Hmar faction in Churachandpur on Sunday.
Troops of Assam Rifles along with Manipur Police launched an operation that led to the apprehension of the three insurgents.
The apprehended insurgents were handed over to Churachandpur Police station for further investigation, the Assam Rifles said on Monday.
