Imphal: Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB), Manipur has arrested a person in connection with ferrying of World is Yours (WY) methamphetamine tablets which were found concealed in the fuel tank of a Tata Sumo truck at Ngariyan village along Old Cachar road.
The arrested person was identified as Lunkhohen Haokip, 29, from Kangpokpi district.
“This Govt. will not spare any drug lords who intends to sabotage the State. I appeal everyone to extend their support in the War on Drugs campaign of Manipur Govt.,” Biren writes on his Facebook wall.

The vehicle bore registration number MN02B9715.
One mobile handset with two SIM cards, one Aadhar card, one Voter’s Identity card, one driving license card, one Pan Card and registration card of the Tata Sumo were also seized from him. A case has been registered for investigation with NAB police station, Biren said.
