Night curfew in Manipur shortened by 2 hours

Imphal: Night curfew imposed in Manipur in wake of Covid-19 has been reduced by 2 hours with effect from Tuesday till September 21 during 7 pm to 4 am.
State home department issued an order regarding the reduction of the curfew hours and restrictions.

The order has permitted additional activities over that were permitted in the government order issued on August 21.

Opening of vehicles showrooms and servicing centres are allowed from 8 am to 5 pm; shopping malls from 10 am to 4 pm and gymnasiums centres from 5 am to 10 am with strict observance of Covid appropriate behaviour have been allowed by the new order.

Opening of brick kilns, stone crushers and furniture manufacturing units have also been permitted.
It said the three IMA Keithels in the bazaar shall remain closed.
