Imphal: Covid-19 claimed two lives, infected 236 persons while 227 Covid patients passed away in Manipur as on Wednesday.
The death cases were from Imphal West. None of them had Covid vaccine.
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (35), Imphal West (115), Thoubal (6), Bishnupur (8), Kakching (5), Ukhrul (10), Churachandpur (10), Chandel (4), Senapati (7), Tamenglong 0, Tengnoupal (4), Jiribam (2), Kamjong (6) Kangpokpi (5) and CAPF (19).
The cumulative number of deaths stood at 1817. The cumulative number of positive cases was 1,17,697. The number of active cases was 2,621 and the recovery rate was 96.23 percent.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1209 D-type oxygen cylinders and 307 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health Facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of Covid 19 vaccine administered on Tuesday was 5359. The cumulative doses was 1606776 (1st dose of 1209770 and 2nd dose 397006).
