Imphal: Covid-19 has taken for more lives and infected 216 more persons while 219 patients were recovered in Manipur as on Thursday.
The four Covid-19 victims belonged to Imphal West (2), Chandel (1) and Kangpokpi (1).
“Out of 4 deaths, 3 of them had 1st doses of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of deaths is 1821, it added.
The new positive cases were from Imphal East (39), Imphal West (94), Thoubal (II), Bishnupur (3), Kakching (2), Ukhrul (10), Churachandpur (8), Chandel (4), Senapati (9), Tamenglong (I), Pherzawl (1), Kamjong (4), Kangpokpi (20) and CAPF (10).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,17,913. The number of active cases is 2,614. The recovery rate is 96.24 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1192 D-type oxygen cylinders and 411 13-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health Facilities of Manipur.
The number of doses of Covid 19 vaccine administered on Wednesday was 5157. The cumulative doses was 1612138 (1st dose of 1210874 and 2nd dose of 401264).
