Imphal: Covid-19 has claimed life of one unvaccinated woman patient from Imphal West and infected 234 persons in 24 hours at the positivity rate of 8 percent in Manipur as reported on Sunday.
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (65), Imphal West (93), Thoubal (6), Bishnupur (16), Kakching (2), Ukhrul (3), Churachandpur (9), Chandel (5), Senapati (6), Tamenglong (1), Tengnoupal (1), Kamjong (18), Kangpokpi (1) and CAPF (8).
The cumulative number of deaths was 1831.
A total of 224 patients were recovered.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,18,495. The number of active cases is 2,189. The recovery rate is 96.61 percent.
The cumulative Covid vaccine doses administered as on Saturday was 1625805 ( 1st dose of 1214099 and 2nd dose of 411706).
