Imphal: Manipur Electricity Employees’ Union (MEEU) has temporarily called off its agitation for pay hike concerning the present situation of the pandemic.
The decision of strike suspension was taken by a joint meeting of representatives of the JAC. The meeting was held at the office chamber of MEEU, power house Keishampat on Monday.
The employee union’s general secretary T. Shyamnagor Singh in a letter addressing to commissioner (power), managing directors of MSPDCL and MSPCL said.
The meeting agreed to called off the strike of sit-in demanding for implementation of 7th pay (ROP-2019) till October 5.
The meeting also decided to resume the strike at suitable time and date without further notice to the concerned authority if the authority failed to implement within the stipulated time.
