Imphal: Manipur on Wednesday reported death of one Covid-19 patient of Imphal West and 171 new positive cases with recovery of 130 Covid patients.
“The person had co-morbidities and had 2nd dose of Covid vaccine,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The positive cases from the general population are from Imphal East (38), Imphal West (62), Thoubal (6), Bishnupur (19), ICakching (2), Ukhrul (13), Churachandpur (9), Chandel (5), Senapati (2), Tamenglong (5), Tengnoupal (1), Noney (1), Kangpokpi (1) and CAPF (7).
The cumulative number of deaths is 1836. The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,19,041. The number of active cases is 2,214. The recovery rate is 96.60 percent, the control room said.
The cumulative vaccine doses doses administered as on Tuesday in Manipur was 1638869 ( 1st dose of 1215782 and 2nd dose of 423087).
