One dies of Covid-19, 158 get positive

Imphal: One Covid-19 positive person from Kamjong district who had co-morbidities passed away and 158 persons got positive while 101 Covid patients were recovered in 24 hours Manipur as reported on Thursday.
The positive cases belonged to Imphal East (34), Imphal West (72), Thoubal (2), Bislumpur (8), Kakching (2), Ukhrul (6), Churachandpur (12), Chandel (2), Senapati (2), Tengnoupal (1), Pherzawl (4), Kamjong (7) Kangpokpi (4) and CAPF (2).
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.
The cumulative number of deaths is 1855. The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,20,584. The number of active cases is 2,263. The recovery rate is 96.58 percent, the control room said.
In the last 24 hours, a total of 1033 D-type oxygen cylinders and 228 B-type oxygen cylinders have boon made available to different health facilities of Manipur.
The cumulative vaccine doses administered in the state was 1699995 (1st dose of 1223272 and 2nd dose of 476723).
