Assam Rifles saves lives

Imphal: Churachandpur Battalion of IGAR (South) extended medical assistance to a grievously injured person of S Khollen Village, Churachandpur district, Manipur on Tuesday.

Alimoi (39), Secretary Zomi Mother Association, resident of S Munneuam village, Dimngaihlu (38), assistant information secretary Zomi Mother Association, resident of Kanaanveng New Lamka, Thangsianbiak (52), president Zomi Youth Association, resident of Gocinkhup veng, New Lamka and Lianzalal (43) , secretary Zomi Youth Association, resident of Gocinkhup Veng, New Lamka met with a road accident and sustained severe injuries. They were taken to the Assam Rifles Detachment P Sejol and administered with timely medical care.

The immediate medical assistance extended by Assam Rifles medical team ensured that her condition was out of danger, the Assam Rifles said on Wednesday.

The villagers expressed gratitude and appreciated the prompt response by the Assam Rifles medical team.
