2 non-vaccinated Covid-19 patients expired, 70 get positive

Imphal: Manipur on Tuesday reported two Covid-19 related deaths, 70 new cases and 81 recoveries resulting to 873 active tally.

The death cases were from Bishnupur and Kangpokpi.

“None of them had vaccinated,” Covid-19 common control room said.

The fresh cases belonged to Implial East (20), Imphal West (34), Thoubal (I), Bishnupur (2), Kakching (1), Ukhrul (5), Chandel (4), Churachandpur (2) and Tamenglong (I).

The cumulative number of deaths is 1915. The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,23,403. The recovery rate is 97.74 percent.

The cumulative vaccine doses administered till Monday was 1905378 ( 1st dose of 1243234 and 2nd dose of 662144).
