Liangmai Naga Chief Chairman Association shows gratitiude to CM


Imphal: The Eastern Liangmai Naga Chief Chairman Association (ELNCCA) has extended its heartfelt gratitude to Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh for his love and support rendered to the hill people and Liangmai Naga community in particular.

The recently concluded Go To Hills 2.0 Community Outreach Programme held on October 22 at Konsaram (Konsakhul), Kangpokpi district was a commendable initiative which have been missing for long, the association said in a press statement

On the occasion, the chief minister had nnounced various developmental projects which are to be carried out on priority basis, it added.

The projects were mini stadium and two football grounds at Konsakhul village, construction of 27 Km IVR road from Khunkhu Naga village to Asilong ( Langka) village, construction of market shed at Makhan village, construction of community hall at Thonglang Atongba village, construction of community hall for Eastern Liangmai Naga Chief Chairman Association at Leikhampokpi, construction of Primary Health Sub Centre ( PHSC) at Makui, construction of Primary Health Sub Centre ( PHSC) at Thonglang Akut and pick up weir at Khunkhu village, it said.

The association appreciated the chief minister for his inclusive developmental approach. The association fully trust that N.Niren Singh government will certainly uplift Manipur to a higher level stated the release.

The release stated that the chief minister’s effort to bring together both hills and valley in equal pace of development and also to bridge the gap between them is highly appreciated.

The chief ministrt’s burning desires for equal development of all communities and special focus on inclusive growth in the state is admirable and noteworthy, it added.

Under the able and visionary leadership of the chief minister, the state of law and order in Manipur has significantly improved and peace has now been restored thus ensuring a true democratic system in the state, the release added
