Manipur governor visits Senapati

Imphal: Manipur governor La Ganeshan made his first maiden visit to Senapati district after being sworn as the governor of the state and also interacted with the DLO’s and CSO’s at the DRDA onference hall.
India will never die as long as culture is preserved, Ganeshan said.
He applauded the district administration for enabling ODF declaration firstly among the district in the state, construction of transit centres for doctors and also the police for maintaining law and order peacefully.
He was saddened with the low percentage of covid vaccination as being one of the lowest among the district in the state which is 18 percent. He sought the co-operation of every individuals and societies in getting vaccination at the earliest. He appealed the member present to maintain cleanliness in the district and co-operate with one another.
Senapati deputy commissioner Mahesh Chaudhari highlighted the ongoing developments and projects under various schemes in the district through PPT. Sub- divisional police officer Ingawale Praving Dadaso highlighted law and order maintenance by police in Senapati.
An interactive programme was organised by Senapati district administration, Senapati, in which DLO’s and CSO’s took active participation in this session.
