MSME minister Bhanu Pratap visits Churachandpur

Imphal: Union minister of state in the ministry of micro, small medium enterprises (MSME) Bhanu Pratap Singh on Saturday visited Churachandpur Wood Carpentary, Old Cinema Hall, Churachandpur government sponsored project under MSME.

Bhanu oberved that in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, enhancing the GDP contribution from present 30 percent to 50 percent and employment generation in MSME from 11 crore to 15 crore, India will be the top economy of the world in future. He is hopeful that the inistry will increase spending for betterment of the society at large.

He said constant efforts are being made towards upliftment of MSMEs under “Self-reliant India” through various schemes for infrastructure development, credit and financial assistance, technology up-gradation, skill development along with inclusion of large number of business units and exporters.

​The minister also interacted with various Craftsmen under Churachandpur Carpentry Association.
