Covid-19 takes 3 lives, infects 50 persons

Imphal: Manipur on Sunday reported three more Covid-19 related deaths, 50 fresh cases and 51 recovered cases.

The death cases belonged to Imphal East, Imphal West and Kangpokpi.

“Out of 3 deaths, all of them had co-morbidities and none of them had vaccinated,” state Covid-19 common control room said.

The cumulative number of deaths is 1949, it added.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,24,482. The number of active cases is 795. The recovery rate is 97.80 percent, the control room said.

The cumulative Covid vaccine doses administered as on Saturday was 2056474 (1st dose of 1260966 and 2nd dose of 795508).

Air passengers who travelled to the state on November 8 by Indigo 6E-6014 (Mumbai to Imphal) in rows 1-4 are to inform the Covid control room1800-345-3818 or respective District Surveillance officers for further surveillance and necessary quarantine and testing, the control room said.
