Sanaleibak Pukei Private Limited chairman absconds with money


Imphal: Founder and chairman of Sanaleibak Pukei Private Limited, Leishangthem Sanayai Meitei of Wangoo Tera Lupa Marup along with two employees have absconded along with company’s money of Rs. 3,47,70,000 personally by using the name of the company.

Sanayai’s associates were board of director of the company Pungyambam Romio Singh of Wangoo Tera and human resource of the same company Ningthoujam Dinesh Singh of Thanga Lawai.

Manager of the same company Tensubam Angamba Meitei told reporters on Thursday at its office located at Changangei Ucheckon, Imphal West that the three persons has absconded along with company’s money.

The money was collected by the employees of the company from public with an assurance to provide them necessary benefits, Angamba said.

The company directed the employees to collect money from any customer with a vision to give a chance to work at other projects including Beneli Bike showroom and Volkswagen showroom, he added.

The three persons are now untraceable along with the collected money of Rs 3,47,70,000 in the name of the company. When the employee of the company contacted with Sanayai, he told that he is out of station and to discuss the matter after his return in the state, Angamba said.

Family members of Sanayai told the company members that he has been kidnapped by a proscribed under ground organisation, KCP.

He appealed to the outfit to set Sanayai free If he has been kidnapped so that he could give back the said company’s money.

He said in some local media one of the absconders, Romio alleged that he was kidnapped and physically assaulted by general secretary administration of MPP, Haobijam Gitajen Meitei. Angamba clarified that the allegation is baseless.

He said on Monday, Romio was called at the company’s office to finish some paperwork related with financial matter and he left from the office. Before he left from the office he told the employees that he will come back on the next day to complete the unfinished official work, Angamba said.

He appealed the authority concerned to take necessary legal action against the absconders whose only motive are to extract money by deceiving and pretending from innocent people.

In connection with the matter the company has filed a complaint at Imphal Police station.
