Covid-19 infects 50 more persons

Imphal:Manipur on Tuesday reported one Covid-19 related death, 50 new positive cases and 40 recovered cases.

The death case belonged to Imphal. The person had co-morbidities and had not vaccinated according to Manipur Covid-19 common control room.

The fresh Covid cases belonged to Imphal East (15), Imphal West (18), Bishnupur (3), Kakching (1), Chandel (3), Kamjong ( I), Kangpokpi (2), Senapati (I), Tengnoupal (1), Ukhrul (I) and CAPF (1). The positivity rate was 2.3 percent.

The cumulative number of deaths is 1963 and that of positive cases is 1,25,007. The number of active cases is 687. The recovery rate is 97.88 percen, the control room said.

Till Monday the cumulative vaccine doses administered was 2112237 (1st dose of 1271884 and 2nd dose of 840353).
