Biren lays foundation stone for 50-bedded hospital at Noney

Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh laid the foundation stone for construction of a 50 bedded Prefabricated Field Hospital at Longmai Part – I, Noney district on Thursday.
The hospital will be set up under the State Health Society, National Health Mission, Manipur with an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 crore.
The chief minister informed that the state government had also made sanction for construction of another three hospitals of such kind at Kamjong, Pherzawl and Tengnoupal district and added that construction work for the same would be started very soon.
Biren was accompanied by works minister Thongam Biswajit, education minister Sorokhaibam Rajen, tribal affairs and hills minister Vungzagin Valte, MP Leishemba Sanajaoba and advisor to chief minister Paonam Brojen during his visit.
