31 more infected with Covid-19

Imphal: Manipur on Saturday reported one Covid-19 related death, 31 new positive cases and 34 recovered cases.

The death case belonged to Imphal East.

“The death person had co-morbidities and had 2nd dose of Covid vaccin,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said. The cumulative number of deaths is 1981, it added

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (10), Imphal West (IS), Thoubal (1), Bishnupur (1), Kakching (3) and Senapati (I). The positivity rate was 2 percent.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,25,328. The number of active cases is 362. The recovery rate is 98.13 percent, the control room said.

As on Friday the cumulative vaccine doses administered was 2184835(1st dose of 1288338 and 2nd dose of 896497).
