Manipur organises Walkathon, Eat Right Mela

Imphal: Manipur chief minister N. Biren Singh on Saturday flagged off a walkathon under the Eat Right Mela 2021-2022, an awareness programme to eat right and maintain good health, at the medical directorate, Lamphel.

It was a pleasure to grace the “Eat Right Mela” and “Walkathon” along with ministers, senior officials and distinguished guests, Biren writes on his Facebook wall.

The “Walkathon” and “Eat Right Mela” has been organised nationwide by FSSAI at 75 cities across the nation which aims to engage, excite and enable the citizens to make the right food choices. Various pavilions of interesting exhibits and stalls showcasing local thalis, organic food, etc will be available, he said.

The food fair will be conducted for 2 days at the medical directorate, Lamphel and City Convention, Palace Compound, Imphal.

Biren urges everyone to avail the opportunity and services provided during the Mela.
