Covid-19 claims 1 life, infects 8 persons

Imphal: Manipur on Friday reported one Covid-19 related death, eight positive cases and 13 recovered cases.

The death case belonged to Imphal West. The cumulative number of deaths was 2000.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal West (5), Bishnupur (2) and Churachandpur (1). The positivity rate was 0.8 percent.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,25,693. The number of active cases is 186. The recovery rate is 98.26 percent, Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.

Till Thursday the cumulative vaccine doses administered was 2289723 (1st dose of 1317399 and 2nd dose of 972324).
