Covid-19: 72 positive, 103 recoveries, no death

Imphal: Manipur on Monday reported no Covid-19 related death, 72 new positive cases and 103 recovered cases.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (10), Imphal West (36), Thoubal (3), Kamjong ( I), Tamenglong (2), Kangpokpi (2), Senapati (2), Churachandpur (1) and CAPF (15). The positivity rate was 4.1 percent.

All necessary medical precaution, measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, state Covid-19 common control room said.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1,26,228. The number of active cases is 438. The recovery rate is 98.06 percent.

The cumulative vaccine doses administered was 2349134 (1st dose of 1341185 and 2nd dose of 1007949).
