Manipur reports no Covid-19 death, 358 positive cases

Imphal: With the confirmation of 358 new positive cases, the total active cases has hit 2004 mark in Manipur even as 145 Covid patients were recovered, the state Covid-19 common control room reported on Wednesday.
No Covid-19 related death case was reported and the cumulative number of Covid deaths remained at 2015.
The new positive cases belonged to Imphal East (72), Imphal West (156), Thoubal (15), Bishnupur (16), Kakehuig (6), ICamjong (3), ICangpokpi (1), Noney (1), Pherzawl (1), Ukhrul (1), Tamenglong (8), Tengnoupal (3), Senapati (2), Chandel (10), Churachandpur (40) and CAPF (23).
The positivity rate was 14.3 percent.
All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the control room said.
The cumulative number of positive cases was 1,28,231 and the recovery rate is 96.86 percent, it added.
On Tuesday 6630 Covid 19 vaccine doses were administered. The cumulative doses was 2403077 (1st dose of 1369680. 2nd dose of 1024129 and precautionary dose of 9268).
