CEO Manipur to observe 12th National Voters’ Day

Imphal: The ffice of the chief electoral officer (CEO), Manipur is all set to observe the 12th National Voters’ Day on Tuesday at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound, Imphal.

The day will be celebrated under the theme ‘Making Elections Inclusive, Accessible, and Participative’.

Manipur chief secretary Dr Rajesh Kumar will grace the occasion as chief guest while director general of police P. Doungel, additional chief secretaries, M.H. Khan, Letkhogin Haokip, Paulunthang Vaiphei and Vumlunmang Vualnam will be the guests of honour of the programme.

As a part of the celebration, a photo exhibition on SVEEP Campaign will also be opened. Administering of National Voters’ Day Pledge, presentation of newly enrolled voters with badges and EPIC, felicitation of SVEEP State Icons, launching of video on Ethical Voting, PwD & Video screening on SVEEP Campaigns and distribution of various awards will be the main highlights of the event.
