4 die of Covid-19, 461 get positive, 308 recovered

Impha: Manipur on Tuesday reported four Covid-19 related deaths, 461 positive cases and 308 recovered cases.

The death cases belonged to Imphal East (2) and Imphal West (2).

“Out of 4 death, all of them had co-morbidities, 2 of them had 2nd dose of Covid vaccine and the other 2 had not vaccinated,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 related deaths stood at 2031.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (116). Imphal West (204), Thoubal (29), Bishnupur (23), Kakching (12), Kamjong (2), Kangpokpi (9), Jiribam (4), Ulduul (2), Tamenglong (5), Tengnoupal (3), Noney (3), Senapati (6), Chandel (2), Churachandpur (26) and CAPF (15).

The positivity rate was 17.2 percent.

All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the control room said.

The cumuktive number of positive cases was 1,30,951. The number of active coos was 3599 and the recovery rate was 95.70 percent.

As on Monday a total of 260 D-type oxygen cylinders and 51 B-typc oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.

Covid Hospital Bed status

The number of doses of Covid vaccine administered on Monday was 7939. The cumulative doses was 2445260 ( 1st dose of 1393030, 2nd dose of 1034944 and precautionary dose of 17286).
