One fully vaccinated Covid-19 patient dies, 425 get positive

Imphal: Manipur on Saturday reported death of another fully vaccinated Covid-19 positive patient, 425 positive cases and 294 recovered cases.

The death person belonged to Imphal East. “The death person had co-morbidities and had 2nd dose of Covid vaccine,” state Covid-19 common control room said.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 related deaths has increased to 2038 in the state.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (98), Imphal West (187), Thoubal (29), Bishnupur (19), Kakching (11), Kamjong (2), Kangpokpi (5), Uldrul (6), Tamenglong (10), Tengnoupal (3), Jiribam (2), Senapati (4), Chandel (8), Churachandpur (31) and CAPF (10).

All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the control room said. The positivity rate was 16.3 percent.

The cumulative number of positive cases was 1,32,581. The number of active cases has risen to 3934. The recovery rate was reported as 95.50 percent.

As on Friday a total of 412 D-type ixygen cylinders and 91 B-type oxygen cylinders have been made available to different health facilities of Manipur.

Covid Hopital Bed status
The number of doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered on Friday was 11948. The cumulative doses was 2479919 (1sr dose of 1413057, 2nd dose of 1042114 and precautionary dose of 24748).
