Manipur reports 3 Covid-19 deaths, 148 positive cases, 272 recovered cases

Imphal: Manipur on Monday reported 3 Covid-19 related deaths, 148 new positive cases and 272 recovered cases.

The three death cases belonged to Imphal East, Imphal West and Thoubal.

“All of them had co-morbidities, two of them had 2nd dose of Covid vaccine and one of them had not vaccinated,” Manipur Covid-19 common control room said.

The fresh cases belonged to Imphal East (33), Irnphal West (61), Thoubal (13), Bishnupur (14), Kakching (10), 1(angpokpi (4), Tengnoupal (2), Ukhrul (3), Noney (1), Chandel (1) and Churachandpur (6).

All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place, the control room said.

The cumulative number of positive cases has risen to 1,35,010, the number of active cases to 3659. The recovery rate stood at 95.76 percent.
