BJP manifesto promises welfare for all: Smriti Zubin Irani


Imphal: Bharatiya Janata Party manifesto of Manipur shows consideration for each and every section of people of Manipur including fisherman.

This was said by Union minister for women and child and development Smriti Zubin Irani said at a political meeting cum flag hoisting ceremony of state education minister S. Rajen Singh held at Eco Park, Salam, Imphal West district on Friday.

People of Manipur will be prosperous if BJP continues its regime, said, the Union minister said.

Reflecting the BJP manifesto released by national BJP president, JP Nadda, she said, establishment of Manipur Skill University for skilling the youths of Manipur in various sector could reduce the issue of educated unemployment among youths, she added.

BJP also keep its vision for women and school going girls as in the manifesto. It also promises to provide two free LPG gas cylinders to all the PM Ujjwala beneficiaries of Manipur. It also promises to provide free scooty to al the meritorious college going girls and free laptops to the meritorious students passing class 12 to support their higher education, she said.

The manifesto not only reflects to increase financial assistant of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana for farmers from Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 but also free cost of accident insurance cover upto Rs 5 lakh to al the fishermen in Manipur. The BJP not only consider welfare for the state but also the party also consider for the welfare of people living under poverty line including fishermen, she added.

Chief minister N. Biren Singh is the pride of BJP for his peaceful resolution of conflict of challenge, she said.

Biren said Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, who do not think for the welfare of Manipur, should be boycotted in the entire Manipur.

Chief minister N. Biren Singh said with the advent of BJP government in Manipur people can relax at their home as law and order in the state become better as compared with the previous Congress government. In the past, many innocents have been victimised under AFSPA however, such panicky situation has been decreased, he added.

Sincerity and polite is necessary in politics and false promises cannot be made in politics. The promises made by the party, as highlighted in the manifesto, will be fulfilled including increase of Rs 2 lakh of CMHT to Rs 5 lakh, he added.

With the coalition government the state cannot have a good governance in the last five years. Some of the MLAs and ministers from other parties created issues. This will be solved by wining absolute majority in the coming election,  Biren said.
