Imphal: Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu who was the chief guest of the Golden Jubilee Nyokum Yullo Celebration at Seppa, East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday was impressed at the Manipuri drum performance presented by the international acclaimed music band Rhythms of Manipur.At the celebration held at the General Ground Seppa.
The Golden Jubilee Celebration which was started from February 17 will culminate on Saturday.
Multi Ethnic cultural exchange day was held on in which the Rhythms of Masnipur troupe presented the state song of Manipur “Sana Leibak Manipur” and enthralled the chief minister, education minister Taba Tedir and others.
Rhythms of Manipur also presented the Doordarshan National Award winning music composition “Dancing Drummers” at the celebration.
Dance and music performances of renowned groups, bands , artists from different parts of the country and fashion shows were the main events of the ten-day celebration.
The sixteen member troupe reached Imphal on Thursday.
