‘Groupism within BJP representatives is baseless propaganda’


Imphal: Vice-president, BJP Manipur, Ch. Chidananda, who is also media incharge of the party, said it a baseless propaganda that are spreading in social media and digital media that there is leadership issue among BJP legislature.

Chidananda in a video release said in some social media platform and digital media propagandas are spreading that formation of groupism has started among the 32 BJP elected representatives.

In the propaganda names of state BJP president A. Sharda, former Speaker Y. Khemchand, former chief minister N. Biren Singh, former works minister Th. Biswajit and Union minister of state RK Ranjan was included. It is unfortunate to spread such propaganda with baseless information, he added.

Chidananda said inside the party there are no such issues as the BJP elected representatives are still at their respective residences and some of them are engaged with some personal works.

He appealed the people not to believe on baseless propaganda as various activities are yet to be completed like reception ceremony of the party national observers and election observers. After that the party high command will decide to whom the state BJP’s legislature leader will be appointed.

“Under the instruction of party high command the party’s legislature leader will be announced by March 19,” he said.
