Assam Rifles hosts motorcycle expedition

Imphal: ​Moreh battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(S) hosted a motorcycle expedition team co-partnered by ministry of DoNER at Moreh on Tuesday.

To celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”, expedition comprising of 15 Bike riders from various parts of India will be covering North East India with an aim to boost and promote tourism, increase economic activity and showcase the rich culture of North East region through diverse lenses. The team visited Indo-Myanmar Friendship bridge and Integrated Check Post, Moreh, the Assam Rifles said on Wednesday.

The expedition team also interacted with the troops of Moreh Battalion and shared their expedition experiences in Manipur.
