Governor Ganesan greets on Mahavir Jayanti

Imphal: Manipur government La. Ganesan extended his greetings to the people of Manipur, especially to the Jain brethren on the sacred and auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.

Lord Mahavira, an apostle of peace and non-violence, showed humanity the path to salvation through love, compassion mercy and abdication of material elements. His teachings transcend all barriers and His everlasting message of peaceful co-existence rings true even now, Ganesan said.

“While celebrating the birth of this apostle of peace, let us re-dedicate to follow the spiritual and ethical path propounded by Him and follow his values of living in harmony and brotherhood.,” he said.
