2 ladies apprehended with 1.26 kg Heroin

Imphal: A team of Churachandpur district police personnel on Thursday seized 1.26 kg of Heroin powder and arrested two women from Khenjang village, Churachandpur district.

The two ladies were identified as one Nemgneihoi Haokip, 25, wife of Goumang Zou of Satang Village, Saikul and Nemjahat Haokip, 40, wife of Thangminhao Haokip of Thadou Veng, Singhat presently staying at Zion Veng, Tuibong, Churachandpur.

A case has been registered at Narcotics Affairs of Borders for further necessary steps, police said.
